Born and raised a native of South Dakota, John graduated from High School and College in Aberdeen, SD. He entered the New Vehicle Auto Industry in Central SD in the spring of 1981 working as a Sales Consultant and then as a Sales Manager. John subsequently was employed 12 additional years as a General Manager at another New Vehicle Dealership. John Purchased Yankton Motor Company in Yankton, SD in May of 1997.
